the nest with food and out.
10:58 Young birds (2) come to the en-
trance and give the food call.
11:00 Parent returns to nest, first
alighting on that lower branch and
puts food into mouth of young.
Went back to the pine 30ft. away.
11:02 Returns again with food.
11:04 From a taller Pine a little farther
away, flew upon the trunk for an
instant just above my head with
beak full of red food, then flew
directly to edge of the nest and
delivered food.
11:05 From the nearest Pine foraged and
returned with food.
