Dubabella Mtn., 5700 ft, 12 mi. S Keyfork, Trinity Co. Calif. (cont.) The covey flew scatteringly to the denser shrubs at the border of the white fir- pine forest, [illegible] yards down slope to the North.
I counted at least 8 immatures, among those which flew.
