The Bald Hills, culminating in Schoolhouse Peak (with lookout) and Coyote Peak, were the scene of much of my collecting out of French Camp. Garry Oak woodland extends upslope onto grassland above the highest forest of Douglas Fir, except on N. side of the peaks.
