Red mtn (our camp), 5300 ft, 14 " " " calf.
(cont.) the ridge top except on rock outcrops, main
Dubakella mtn, seen just to the N. of th South
Peak, is covered with "chaparral" of that type
even on the uppermost peak; but there are
bold areas corresponding to those at lower
elevations on the ridge extending eastward from it.
