iris-pupil. Again, the irides were greenish-yellow. All in all, good Westerns. Finally saw a & Western Gall,
with black primary tips, yellow eye-ring & yellow iris.
Turns out she is banded: silver-blue right leg, white-
red left leg. Mated to a good Hancock-surged Gall,
which was also banded: right leg red/silver & left
leg red. Pair of eggs in the nest. I trapped the
female of this pair. Took some doing, but caught her
just before we had to get ready to leave the island
(VAS 230).
