Pt.-Harred Owl - heard by Mrs. Mead & Mrs Cole in redwoods on Papermill Creek W. Bell's Kingfisher - one on Tomales bay - in cave. Red shaped Flicker - many seen. Black Phoebe - one on cove ? Tomales Bay, Calif Jays - many. Western Crows - many W. Winter Wren - (Vigors) Wren or McCasio Wren. Pacific Daved Thrush - 6+ at Lagunitas Western Robins - everywhere. Dwarf Hermit Thrush - a few Western Bluebirds - several flocks California Shrike - several Audubon Warbler - a few in Eucalyptus trees at a ranch on shore of Tomales Bay W. Meadowlark - many Brewer Blackbird - numerous in only one spot - ranch. House Finch - very few. Spotted Towhee } several Brown Towhee W. Savannah Sparrow - 12+ in flock near Pt Reyes in wet meadow When approached a bird would squat in a hole and freeze.
