In the afternoon visited all the places to the N.N.
of Highgate Cemetery, and then retraced our steps and
went south to find out going road north of St. Helles Corner.
Collected Crickshaw froms at line 10.
It rained some ?? and me during the day and now at
4 P.M. it is extremely damp hard and we had to wait.
St. Albans Aug. 14-1925-
Started over on the St. Albans Bay road and then I,
passed Cunners Place and to the corner of the Ruff Gate.
Here we located the Millim and going E. than the St. Alban's
date, Ancient Anglo, Highgate date of the easternmost
lie empl. Seems to dip at a low angle 10 to 15 degrees
Then went south to John's No. 7 and went half-way
on this road. On the north side of road in Highgate
Shale Bay a quartzite local bed about 3 feet thick. Then
further over, just beyond where some large lentils (li.)
[illegible] (on map). Further we on south side of road to the
one of a farm saw 5 lenticles of li. close together lying in
shale. They look like L.O. lenticles but appear to be in
St. Albans shale. Are in 20 foot seams and is exactly
