July 27 Bkfst (Elkhorn-Sundance) 3 2 44 Lunch (Luce Cr.) 2 45 Rooms (Mrs Mosher) 6 00 Laundry 45 Parking - Lusk 10 Haircut 1 25 Dinner (Coffee Cup) 7 08 20 27 Up at crack of dawn because of loud mouthed kids from Ohio. Scudy's tarp shelter held in winds & we woke up dry. Breakfast at Sundance then down Inju Kive road to Newcastle. Hot. Luce Creek looked deserted & dusty but good lunch raised spirits. Rooms at Mrs Moshers. In afternoon to Lusk for laundry, haircuts, and visit to Court house for Niobrara land data. Saw Lusk Museum & a local rockhound. Had fine dinner at Coffee Cup which has opened a dining room. Back to Luce Creek, good cool evening.
