7th day.
Camp - 10:45 at 8 o'clock (P.M.)
A dandy good day and a good march. In camp on south side of L. Isabella - another wide open view from now on it is new country, my two friends in which while man has visited namely, Cafe Garland and Clarence Head who are out of Philadelphia placed records in 1894.
Due to late snow storm the going is not good, but ultimately our loads are light or we should have had a hard time getting up over the Myrtle Glaciers as it was we sweat block so to speak. And what a time coming down - the thrill of that slide will remain for some time. My sledge pulled completely over so rapidly that not a thing could out my sledge bag or a friend out of an operation!
