Temp 32 Down to- see ice at head of Shagler Bay. Bar 29.56. At River Valley caught trail at 24.54. This makes our greatest height at about 4700 feet. We find here four bear skins and two mules left by Accomding-wal and Ali-Port- ali-shah-o. It looks as if we shall have a load for Elak. We are taking home 10 bears for mounting and 5 skin 4 mules, even with skulls and
