near the cairn.
I am fortunate as
we has ever been along
this coast before Friday,
it is not at all like
it is mapped.
We have made at
least 30 miles, 7 1/2 hours
at 4 an hour. Following
fresh bear tracks turned
our dogs on considerably.
By the map this distance
takes us over the whole
whole eastern side of the
island. We have been going
about true east all day
and have not really turned
south at all. Tomorrow-
will reveal much. I may
send two of the boys to
Cape South West from here.
