Having fed for two
days on Hemican I was
a little concerned about
the game supply around
Ringnes Island realizing
that the extent of my
work depends upon this.
My fears were set
aside however when we
sighted a mothers bear
and two cubs far out on
the ice of Henrickson Sound.
They had heard us as
we pounded the points to
the east; consequently they
