Tri. 401 Annuance, my little pup & Vales, were running home ahead of the Sledge and bravely attacked the bear hind quarters. She turned and gave him a slap and trucked him and over and he kind of felt himself over and went at it again. When the menag was over it was a bigger serefs for us to keep the dogs from tearing her to pieces. They were fairly whining for blood. According as I could see jumping up explaining that he had frozen his nose. The children all grabbed theirs and rummaged through their fingers that mine was frozen! It did it take me long to slap my warm hand on it and then it out. In about an hour we were on the trail again having put the meat to the dogs and bringing the skin with us. We were tired and cold but best plugging ahead.
