at 5 o clock this morning
there was a voice at the
door. We all thought it
was Koolah Tual announcing
that he and his companions
in the other iglo were through
breakfast. To our great
surprise it proved to be
his brother Al. Ford died
a from Eelale!
He reached Verly two
days after Charlie left and
Eelah two days after we had
gone. He rested his dogs
two days and then took
after us. He covered the 150
miles in three marches while
we had done in seven! I
thought we were doing well
but this shows what an

We gave him a few
hours sleep and left camp
