apr 25 young ice now covers the harbor and the steamers are stuck here on that coast. They may need some money if it is necessary to stay which does longer. This ice is very unusual for this time of the year. Many sick people come to see me and I have three patients in the Hospital, one with typhoid, one with scurvy.
