April 6th North east wind mild snow. Ice is driven about the harbor by tide & wind but does not leave entirely open. Above 6 below zero centigrade. April 7th. Partly loosey snow this morning, later I closed and blew for South West. Above 9 below zero centigrade. 5 kayaks came for Thursday carrying a small bearded seal, Ice is packed in to south April 8th. Ice morning about harbor with tide but not opening enough & let boat through. This is Easter Sunday and all schooners were in the shole hands with us. April 9th North wind & cold. Ice packed to south. Left for Akig angier and two sledges to see Robins getting on mail sennels. Ice here packing & freezing.
