There is very little esking food here, either seal or fish and Mr Hansen has not much danish provisions. Butter is almost gone & sugar, there is plenty of flour & rice in the store. The very small amt of slubber in the ware house is due to lack of get on whick & hunt seals. The eskimos: catch a few small cod fish each day and that with a few skals makes up their diet. We get fish from them and occasionally a seal liver. We have fish every day. I think my diary is a day behind this calander,
