his hole and crawled off through the crowd. Off these eggs high up in the trail and in a few minutes - we had him alive, a female one. Photographed him in Arctic lap then killed him for supper. May 17th Thurs, Pemican Camp Entrance to Baker's Bay Deep soft crud all day. Followed the ice foot well up into Bay in the evening to find hard going. Here at the camp there does not seem to be so much so snowfeet is good for tomorrow. We are on our last kit and last can of milk. But will fish up both tomorrow about 5 miles below here where Sammis and I left at my last trip.
