point A island in Advance
Bay. Chain on a point
of rocks 30 fathoms E 1/2 S from
cache and same distance
from a point of a remarkable
rocks on lightest part of the
island, bearing S by W 1/2 W.
"There were two small
islands about 200 paces
from the cache, the larger
bearing E by N 1/2 N and the
smaller E. N. E.
Reached S bluff Oct 16th.
