(7) Saturday April 24th A long hard march. back to our 1st cache camp from Nannook camp. Soft snow all across Rensselaer Harbor. Three seals all up at- one time gave us enough dog food I left before I could get a shot. Left a cache at Museum Head consisting of following: Beans 4, Potatoes 1, Salmon 3, sausage 2, Milk 2, Hard Eggs 6, Corn 1, Oil 2. 10 hours Friday (8) Sunday April 25 To leave here 2 o'clock. Held up all day by wind and drift from the south west. Left at 7 P.M. arriving nearly at old camp in Ford's Bay at midnight. Sun is well above the horizon. Good going on ice or ice foot.
