"which means 'a great many'" E-tob-al-shoe counting on his fingers informs me they have killed 35. They bring me the four quarters of one for my dogs and oneat for ourselves tonight. Today we move camp to where they are which is only a short distance, tonight I witnessed a most curious sight- a dog refusing a choice sirloin and an Eskimo with a sigh threw his pawife into the corner of the igloo and me at beef into - the pan. We are full hearts, tongues and livers do not tempt us. This killing puts us on easy street-- there are many more often in sight so I believe it will pay to stop here, rest- and fatten our dogs. It looks tonight as if we might succeed.
