1963 Calcorius laponicus 11 June Barrow, Alaska Males & females are in general abundance in most areas. Displaying by males was seen on Beach ridge & Garlic ridge. On Beach ridge, one male defended his claim on a female against another male. The clash was very short. The agreed male bluffd once and the intruder retreated. 12 June. Barrow, Alaska Males and females are common in Voth area and adjacent to Family Lagoon. Only one display by a male was seen. 13 June Barrow, Alaska. Still very common, done displaying by males still. 14 June Barrow, Alaska a nest found in Voth Area between Voth kreek and cakeeater site with 4 eggs and 1 hatched young! 15 June Wainwright, Alaska Only a few pair noticed. No display by ♂♀. 17 June Barrow, Alaska Several pairs were seen and other ♂♀ still doing aerial and song deep displays. 18 June Barrow, Alaska Still abundant, ♂♀ nesting, a few aerial display still continuing.
