One clash occurred of army brief interlude. 25 june Barrow, Alaska One over lines IX + X preying. Perched near Fresh Water Lake road 27 june Barrow, Alaska One over lines II + IV rolling an occasional trap. 29 june Barrow, Alaska. A pair between Central Marsh and Gasline Ridge. Nest wasn't found. 3 july Barrow, Alaska One observed near lines XIII + XIV tearing up sod randomly, occasionally pausing to swallow. Appeared to be eating insects.
