2 Erolia melanotus 20 June Barrow, Alaska. ♀ with nesty 4 eggs 30 yards south of 100 m trapline I still the same, no charge. ♂ in bend area, evidently impaired. 21 June Barrow, Alaska ♀ with nesty 4 eggs in central marsh. 25 June Barrow, Alaska Four near line IX flying and then stopping to feed. 28 June Barrow, Alaska A Rectal nest is between lines IV & V but wasn't located. 1 July. Barrow, Alaska ♀ taken on trapline IV B. Given to R.T. Holmes 6 July Barrow, Alaska a group of 7 observed flying and landing to possibly feed near the gasline above Upper Meadow Lake 19 July Barrow, Alaska a flock of 15 west of lines I & II on Geolin Ridge. 21 July Barrow, Alaska a group 3-5 were feeding on Beach Ridge near AA CS 21 August Barrow, Alaska a flock of 20+ were feeding on the road leading south from the AA CS area. Five were collected for R.T. Holmes.
