Barrow, Alaska.
On Black Ridge one constantly
moving around, occasionally displaying. Defend
its territory against another Erolia once. Others
would be heard displaying in adjacent areas. On
Gasoline ridge 2 78° flew side by side, probably
on the fringes of their territory. No actual defense
of territory was attempted.

A male seen near trap lines III A, B
circling another two miles away.

Two were seen, one displaying near the call

Several males are encountered in trip from Beach
Ridge to Gasoline Ridge.

A pedestal nest with 4 eggs located south of line I about 20 yards.
