June 29, 1962 area across from Voth area Proper (east of it) Pt. Barrow;
a flock of 22 were feeding on a level plain without any
displaying. No other birds in the immediate vicinity.
July 2, 1962, Beach Ridge, Pt. Barrow; a flock of seven
seen feeding; no display.
July 4, 1962, Central Marsh, Pt. Barrow; a male killed by me
for a specimen.
Aug 17, 1962, Snow River, Alaska; 4 seen fairly close
together near our camp.
