June 14. Cartiel marsh almost to Beech Ridge, St. Barrow, one individual on ground.
June 17, 1962. Voth's Area, St. Barrow; several pairs here, but did not locate any nest.
July 5, 1962. 100 sw of Aridology, St. Barrow; a nest found with four eggs. Very elaborate distraction display by the breeder.
July 19, 1962, St. Barrow; nest referred to on July 5 is gone along with parent.
July 18, 1962, Voth Area, St. Barrow; a flock of six in area moving about, occasionally caught in our traps.
