June 16, 1962, Voth area, Pt. Barrow; Individual about 50'-75' above ground, hovering, emitting the motor boat sound. June 18, 1962 Voth's area, Pt. Barrow; one nest found which is actually across from Voth's area proper, across the "Little Freeway." also, to the north of this nest, a male was seen going through the nest cup display of going from one nest to another in a tail down, hunched position. He would settle on a nest cup for a few seconds and go to the second. The female followed him in both instances. then both went off to feed. Both cups were located and marked. July
