Holmes says there is a large flock (20) near here, 30 July Pittmegea River - Cape Soline, Alaska One observed on river bank feeding. 31 July Pittmegea River - Cape Soline, Alaska A group (6+) of juveniles feeding along the banks of the river. At first were thought to be Black Turnstones. 20 Aug Barrow, Alaska A few young juveniles are near the south shore of Fish Water Lake feeding.
