Plurialis dominica 11 June 1962 On high, dry ground just South of POW. Pt Barrow. a pair w/o dimorphism stood watching. One sang occasionally in high-pitched short whistle. June 12 One only seen at Baseline Ridge June 14 Pair seen at Beach Ridge, 1/4 mi from POW June 15. Baseline, 1/4 mi. South of ART; one seen. Baseline Ridge [illegible] ; 2 pair seen. June 16, Voith Area, Pt Barrow. One seen displaying by raising rear end of while the & is behind. Several others in area. June 20, Trapline IX, Pt. Barrow; pair seen. June 22, 1962, 20 yds NW of Trapline IX, Pt Barrow; a type of distraction display where the individual was sitting (not on the nest), and flapped its wings several times in rapid succession. As I moved a little more, it ran south. No further add. Could not find the nest. June 23, 1962, Trapline IX, Pt Barrow; Nest about 25 yards south of 10.0. Has 4 eggs on a polygon in plain view - "Drum Area"; nest found with 3 eggs in middle of drum area; marked with orange stake. June 29, 1962. In a small ravine across Voith Creek from Voith Area Paper, Pt Barrow; a male was running up the north side of the ravine away from my approaching vehicle in a type of fleeing, not distraction. July 4, 1962. Central Marsh, Pt. Barrow; Small groups of Elms are gathering. The groups are from 3-4. Observed several groups tonight. July 17, 1962, Line B, Pt. Barrow; Nestlings are gone, firm nest referred to on June 23. Owl in area,
