Lvs parallel but lacking mid vein, the lower lvs sep. Blade standing in same plane as flattened sheath edge or both cules (as tho the prolongation of side of sheath only). Sepals, green in center, brown on edges shortly blunt pointed but hardly acuminate. Petals with broad green stripes in center shod brown margins with white ceracine edges. Stamens 3, filaments shorter (not much) that filaments. Floheads about 60. Pirants 3mm long. Capsule ovoid but not greatly tapered at base. Base ? of culms thickened v pro ducing white bulb clustered at base.
