Spikelet 2 1/2, 3 mm long overall x 3 mm wide over all its parts spread rather widely) 1st glume 1 1/2 mm long narrowly scale like linear, green, not stiff, folded down its midnerve which is minutely rough- cored, 2nd glume 3 mm long x 3mm wide, broodest above middle, convex at top concave, with broad hyaline margins v green center in which 3 nerves show very definitely from inside, minutely roughened at least on midnerve for back. 1st fl.scaie 2 1/2 mm long, narrowly oblong, outside minutely pimpled (20 x 84 x) v rough. to the needle points, light green except apex which is darker beeked v a triple hooded. Only the midnerve shows plainly from within. Palet very free, dividing delicate, 2mm long glumes shorter than lemma, 3 beaked (very 1/2) mm narrow, the upper third looking as tho it might be an appendage[tuberculate] when grain is ripe. Stigma small. Stamens 3 anthers white, very small. 2nd flm pedicel 8 7/8 mm and only slightly smaller than the 1st. Filaments very slender. Plants 12-20 in cludes, light green, sheaths v loose of the hairy lf blades. 7cm x 5mm, acute leagule 3mm, toothed 5-18-29 2nd triangle table # Mangrove Prgt #141 R.B.X. X 5-12-29 Lpobnis Oeli-rosa.
