Fl 2 1/2-3 in across, not bold & more open regular than our usual gladiolus! Fl. resembles pink, the 3 lower petals with white blotch which has crimson border. 4-23-29? Rutoa Zinialis Melix p.165 BMJC P 357 Pomander Gate near sundial Blount Stud. always St. priekely but no bristles observed 1/2 to 3-5 on the uppermost simple vbltd, 1/2 to serrula. Fl ovate at least 1 in across, 1/2 to green beneath paricely or mid rib and petiole. 4-23-29 Reseda odorata l. BMJC P3/15 x Ralta l. Pomander Gate, Blount Stud. Fl with capsule opening at top, 4 celled 4-22-29 Ornithogalum arabicum l. for BMJC P162 The large bulbs seen at Woodhaven as remembered 3 in or perhaps more diam. 4-22-29 "Phoenix plumosa" by Davis with. Woodhaven by Rockwell not closely observed.
