4-1-29 Eleocharis interstincta, RVS. Dermoline Marsh common at western end and eastern part. F.in culm only 7 in high or plant (which all other culms had been cut) Fr. in various imperfect conditions on the p[la]nt Culm to 33 in. Terte septate in sections 1/2-1/4 in, there sometimes faintly visible outside but
by no means as definitely as in all. Culm not papillose it does so no projections evident to Smuch or to (20x). Thickly dotted with white dots (70x). Spiked 1 1/2 in long. Scales rate, thin hyaline margins narrow at apex but broad on sides. Bristles 6, retrosexly barbed almost 2/3 again as long as body of culm. Tubicle white rather than black based, its base about 1mm wide while culm is about about 1/2 mm a widest part.
