4-17-29 Cleisthura speciosa, Nutt. Agri Ex. Fl As 3 in, white fringed v veins pale pink, yellow at base. Young capsules not markedly acute, 4-winged with a ridge bet the wings. Calyx lobes linear 1/8in x 1/4 in x 4-17-29 Dinningia speciosa, Reuth. Work. BMJC.P697. Agri Ex labeled "Eloxinia". Calyx & corolla lobes, glands & stamens 6's 3 & 6 in 3 diff ls. 1 flowered Calyx lobes 8 and all other parts 6. Part of vary above calyx densely pubes- cent. 4-17-29 Hodeia grandiflora, Lindl. Agri Ex. St bro capsules puberulent, Lvs lanceolate 2 in x 1/6 in, acute, tapering more acutely to base, with very low teeth (presinuate) 4 ring hairs inside tube shortly above ft where it breaks off vary. x 4-17-29 Clarkia Agri Ex main text. Double fl's claws very short so that petal is merely obovate, 1/8 in long by nearly as broad, no teeth on claws and so blades not lobed, entire except denticulate at apex. Anthers v filaments all reddish. Lvs entire. Genifer capsules 1 in long, pres short stalked. Plant puberulent throughout, even at little hairs at base of petals. Petals rose pink, crimson at base. Prob a hybrid 4-17-29 Samolifcis Targeto, & DC. BMJC.P6/1 Agri Ex Andree ex that ray H are only slant at base of blade outside are papillose. Where glabrous, rough with tinpluses.
