Anthers as sagittate as in Calendula Officinalis. Style branchs appendaged. Lobes of disk fl very hairy outside 3-28-29 Rosemary Officinalis, L p 327 V B.M. J.C.P. 636 Fl. Southlands. Upper calyx lobe 3 nerved the middle nerve ending in blunt point but lobes not earn"rayshothy" 3-toothed. 3 minute stamnodes. Pubescence woolly stellate 3-28-29 Malvaceae - Fl v Fr. Southlands. Brsb shrub v purp 3 ft or more, only tip of branch 4 in long collected. Green at finely glandular pubescent v also covered with long white spreading hairs. lvs alt, petioles decursivos. ► Lf (largest collected) 2 1/2 in x 1 3/8, broadly date, lower 5 nerved, cordate with narrow sinus long tapering to apx blunt apex irreg. crenate. Petiole 3/4 in., pubescence like lft but ammered starry. Lf scattered starry pubescent above ► thick starry pubescence below. Fl. solitary axillary in peduncles 1 1/4 in long, jointed 1/8 in below flsbt pubescence like petiole involved none. Calyx 3/8 in high, deeply lobed, ciliate starry pubescent lobes nate, acuminate, entire, pale green. Calyx somewhat angled at sinuses.
