"Callistemon lanceolatus" D.C. (as pulcat) Agri. St. Remains eluded fr. Fr on naked part & liguleicle bear for 1/2 in. Tip Twigs with long scattered hairs on lf- bearing part, loo pubescence veins below. Fd dotted aromatic. Top 1 fr. gone (asthis Circumcisa) having 3 cells each containing many irreg seeds. but this cup let is not from falling but support part fr aboved entirely deliciely. 3-18-29 X Tree last 1/4 Bull Pen at Agri. St., Fz. Twigs warty at tip mossy pubescent. In alt. or petioles 3/6-1/4 in. lf rate to 3/4 x 1/2 in, thin, glabrous & shining. Offuse naeute apex, rounded at base. Irreg. loso dotted undulate. Fz. on pedicels 1/4 in., singly or in clusters (two) axillary. At ends of short twigs about 1/2 in long Fz spherical, 3/4 in. turning purplish brown. Remains of calyx at atten end & slotted stigma at apex Fz. cut across above seeds lynd so as to make a cross the + this no wall divisions of cells is evident seeds about 8 in each fr oval wedge shaped 1/4 in x 1/2 in and very thin. See 4-10-29 Par-la-Ville and 4-4-29 this tree again Agri. St. X 3-18-29 "Argyrea speciosa" Sweet labeled Agri. St. vine on hellis just back of House. Fz flo. purpae fr. above well devolved, 5 or 6 in seed. Whether more than one seed not evident. Sepals 5 unequal to 3/2 x 1/2 in. rate to sign of tracts. D.F.H. 303. Dublin B.M.G.P.
