T. intermedia (in T. cordata teeth are somewhat irregular) and that sinuses are rounded or obtuse (in the others sinuses are acute.)

Inf. invol 1cm high, urn shaped, with the tuft of white pappus projecting 6-7mm. Rostels all white inside two (at least mat) base divisions few less numerous than elsewhere that is remarked for C. viscaria lower middle part flat with few lobes of hair and a longentive tip.
