St deflures to umbels, involucula. Leaves much more finely cut than C. lir and might be confused with C. aureum. But they are more dainty & lacey than C. aureum v tip of segments more deeply cut. Flower white. Involucels (most strongly reflexed in flower than in C. lis -) look shining white at fl-time (pale greenish pinkish in C. lis-).
