less clearly at base, with def. low teeth, with stiff hairs on the edges, the lower two with a few similar hairs on surfaces. Largest of 85 x 18 mm. St. distinctly lfy to the lower branches with lvs 2-3 times as long as internodes. Infla panicule with lowest branches about the middle of the st. Corolla 20 mm long cut to within 12 mm base. Calyx lobes awl-shaped as in C. slom, between the teeth sometimes (at least) free in C. slom; ½ to almost as long as corolla, erect (not spreading as in C. slom - ) only slightly spreading. Query: could this be C. Schleicheri Negele? Schur. SUKI 65 & ? Buds probably erect. Pressed corollas 2½ cm Flw buds 10-20 on a plant. If not C. Schleicheri the best guess seems to be a hybrid of C. Schleicheri x C. slomboidalis. Corolla tube rounder at base than C. slomboidalis.
