6-2-34 Fl.Cult.Drape garden.Prosa perennial,with several sts.(Clarice indicates Boraginaceae.St 6in high. alt. Lfy.to top.1vs.persile,linear,dotted both sides with short stiff appressed,upward pointing hairs(On lower surface these hairs so thick close that surface looks whitish),edges revolute.1vs± erect.Middle lvs 38x 3 mm.Lower&upper lvs somewhat shorter.Socalyx with similar hairson very small(20x) tubercle-base. Infl.cymose(3 branches,each again forked)valightly decurpid,with small bracts like the lvs.Calyx about 5mm high with narrow ± equal lobes almost to base. Corolla beautiful clear blue,tubular,11mm long,narrow below undening at about middle.Cut at tip into 5 oblong,rounded lobes,3 mm long.These lobes never reflexed,nervs spreading(otherwise corolla has much the shape of Enosina Coats#590-1).Corolla glabrous outside inside with no sign hairs,pilose veins. Dangy st.5 mens(2 cenus)annts tips lks.The 5 filaments,all with lobes are joined to corolla to the point where it begins to widen.Point where they become free slow on outside of corolla as very slight depressions.Filaments slightly purplish,anthers dark,dull purple,2.6mm long,entire,their tips just slowing beyond the corolla,dorsifixed.Style filiform, frigit pens,erect ±4 mm.Pedicel shorter than Calyx.Calyx shows no sign of being acerescent.Capuls not smooth(very young)
