4-13-34 ??? Orchis sambucina L. Cote III 403, Box 311, 3v/II/61. This is Mrs. Talbot's green f'rea spec (only infl sent & that badly mutilated) it (near infl) angular very narrowly hollow. Reacts faintly tinged with purple, not veined, leaf-like (the lo- est 35x7mm v def, longer than fl. Spurs 2 mm or slight more (SvK) but not at this stage equal to vary. Spurs acute points down but may have been more pointed at base than ill(Cote), Infl ?6 flo and oval in shape. 4-13-34 Polypodium vulgare L. Muscare comosum Mill Muscare racemosum Mill (seems to be the mutilated fl & young fr. offers scanty data. 4-27-34 Cephalanthera ensifolia Rchl. 4-27-34 Serapias lingua L. 4-27-34 Orchis Morio L. Many specimens of same dark colour as 4-13-34 and one pale lavender rather dingy because of green veining.
