Ovary 2 celled with 2 erect ovules in each cell but only 1 or 2 seeds matured in the fr. studied. Plant well described (Costa). Whole plant ± villous hairy but hairs grayish (not brownish, BMJCP) and follicles 1 fld roill (Costa)(BMJCP. says "3-fld"). Indent as sure as pos. for cult. plant. See 4mm high, single. 9-17-34 Odontites serotina Reiche Costa III.47=Euphrasia mipae — lam SVI 604 fr. Noville. In all fallen when collected. Ident. by full largest now fully & fully aged) leaf overlaps the calyx teeth by fully 1mm and is oblong (not at all obovate SVI). Tuft "serres" (rather than "un peu lâches" Costa). Depermat bracts (the only ones remaining) not longer than calyx.
