clog together much more than does G. palustris.

174; SVT 71 FL fs. Villeneuve marsh (where drawing
machine used to be) along cast tracks just beyond the first
trend. Found only in that one place. Plants at 11 cm overall.
Branches infl much slenter than ill (Coats and A)
so that effect is almost visible spikelets. Spdl tracks 3,
spikelet longest is ± 5 cm, another 1/2 to 3/4 as long and another
two longer than infI. Spikelets ± 10 mm long x 2 or 2+
cm wide glabrous bronze hableila Stegmas) 3;
stamens 3. Achene 1+mm long, lenticular but
not strongly flattened, black with a delicate network
of white crustings or without this. Crusting v shining
and there are superficially marked with irregular
transverse ridges and very fine (25) vertical lines
