conspicuously 20. Fruiting heads to 4 cm diam. Plant never seen before except less undoubtedly this new Alpine Garden Roches de Naye 8-17- 33 (not recorded). The coarse pinnate lvs with segments triangularly decurrent on petiole are unmistakable. 9-2-33 Rubus idaeus L. Cote II 33, Box 100, Bvt 186, & 486 D.M. DCP 355; # SVI I 345. Fr. Glins (has been ripe for some time) (see 4a and BM.D.C.P for diff from the variety more common in America) Stg inf downy but without glands vel- moust without bristles Calyx similar with only a few erect bristles near base of sepals. Young shoots without prickles, softly downy v smooth to touch. 9-2-33 Pleinanthus electorslofusus Poll. Cote III 50, SVI I 611 Fl of 2 Jaman-Col de J.- Laux. This is the R with pub calyx (no attempt made to distinguish bet. # 2136-7-8 SVI) Corolla 2cm overall, the indet teeth 2mm (v slightly less) on upper edge; shape very like ill 106 (tube perhaps slightly more curved) Bracts very like ill III. Eldest calyx (fr not yet ripe) 16 x 16 mm. 9-2-33 Pleinanthus augustifolius Honelin SVI I 614. Cote III 51 Fr only. Locs not remembered. No information as to corolla available but calyx is glabrous, bracts more like ill 110 than 109 (ie lower teeth awn tipped
