8-18-33 flo(short pedicelled) Calyx tube(excluding vary) 3 mm., Calyx lobes(4 in number) about 1/0x2 mm. Corolla pure white with strong tuberose odor, tube ± 5 cm., limb 4-parted, salverform, the elliptical lobes 15 x 7 mm., the edges slightly revolute (as lobes were valvate in bud). Tube well some hairs inside (the only ones on plant). Anthers white, almost sessile at throat? Corolla( included obseily visible) opening internally with pollen faintly lilac coloured. Style+ stigma 33 mm.(hence much shorter than corolla tube) divided for about 9mm into 2 linear branches. Ovary completely inferior, 2-celled, many seeded. The tiny ovules all arranged in a way that suggest seeds might be winged. If in BMJCP but probably is Bourardia Humboldti Hort. BMJCP 713. √ which it fits as far as can be ascertained at this stage. No other posn in B.M.J.C.P. 8-18-33 Sedum reflexum L. Corte II/17, Bon III, BVN 168 & 443 = S. rupestre L. SVN I 324 (but note that BON and B.MJCP consider S.reflexum v S.rupestre distinct vace to them this is prd) S.rupestre, the lobes being certainly somewhat flattened.) FL Cult in the Drage garden.
