8-14-33 Campanula Schenelzeri Vill Conte II 503,
Box 199, Suit 657.
A. Fl v young fs. Rockers de Naye. This is the plant found
commonly on Rd N with 1-several (occasionally 6-9)
flo, nodding tubs, at glabrous except for a few
stiff down pointing hairs on angles (not as in
C. rotundifolia finely hairy all around towards base)
and at top to top with narrow lvs (as in ill Conte)
the lowest lvs now running.
B. Fl v young fs. On path just outside Alpine Garden
Rd N. Plants 2-3 iningle, stiff & solitary, seem just
like A, of the same dark color, buds nodding (flo
also nodding--as is not always true f A) & fs nodding.
The diff noticed on collecting is that base & lower
1/3 if it is leafy with rate (to 18x9 mm) lvs narrow
from an almost (perhaps quite) sessile base. About this
tub at are naked or with hardly more than a
suggestion of the narrow tub f A.
