Nervation of wings seems fewer & simple, the mid-nerve without branches & the 2 side nerves only slightly branched on outside and not forming a net-work. Seed (without aril) now 2 mm long. Aril has 2 lobes 1 mm long (when impositon, these lobes do not reach to middle of seed) and a much smaller lurking lobe (really almost ½ mm), these lobes all lying close against seed. Seed pubescent; aril glabrous except for a small spot of similar pubescence on top. The P. from near V-M used for comparison is just the same as has been thought to be P. vulgaris?
