Contracts v the number I say leaves no other possibility. Ivs. are the same as in (A) 7-18-33 f. Medicago falcata L. Cote I 322, Box 74, BVH III, BVH II #/33, 4516, SVI 396 FL. Rystation. Bouveret. Ident as satisfactory as poso. without fs. Decumbent, almost woolly with matiny wide spreading (decumbent) branches. Ifs narrowly oblong 10x4 mm., somewhat narrowed toward base, leuculate at top, the tip being cistele, with a sublate projecting tip (very evident to eye). Stipules & decuate at base well a long sublate tip. Stems finely pubescent. Fls 7-8 mm. before standard assumes erect position), lemon-yellow with a few brownish lines at base [lemb.] standard. Wings spreading to almost the obtuse keel. Calyx teeth equal, acute, as long as tube (2-2 1/2 mm.). Stamen tube unexpectedly firm, the (9) stamens united until near tip. Style at base, flattened sideways under the vary. Ovary (as fl folds) very densely pubescent hirsute. Ivs fr also enough to allow side lobes but looks as though it might later be a sill (Cote).
