7-11-33? Enfalasia histella Jrd. Costa #42, SVI I 68.
Early fl. Kagedu Chauderon in little marshy patch
with Orculus, Brunella etc. This seems only pos in
Costa v SVI. St slender, 6in high, beginning to branch
above the middle. St noticeably covered well stiffly,
mostly downward-curved, white hairs without
gland-hairs intermixed. Bracts v Calyx (v little less
extent) well supplied with much finer, but long, gland
tipped hairs. (These [20x] not evidently "band forming 3u-
ramenengedriculaten, gegliederten" SVI.) Corolla
when ready to fall ± 7mm long; white wth a few fine,
purple stripes, a yellow spot on underlp and a yellow
throat. Corolla tube def. shorter than Calyx. Each lobe
of the 2 lobes? upper lp of corolla notched but not denti-
culate (Costa). [Very long ciliate hairs seem mostly or
perhaps all without glands. Teeth gls bluntish (certain-ly not sharp.) Note: altitude seems a little low acc to
SVI. [7-26-34 Study of F. from R de N and Ulion persuaades
R.BK that this is merely small fld form of E. Decidualis.]]
