7-11-33? Enfalasia histella Jrd. Costa #42, SVI I 68. Early fl. Kagedu Chauderon in little marshy patch with Orculus, Brunella etc. This seems only pos in Costa v SVI. St slender, 6in high, beginning to branch above the middle. St noticeably covered well stiffly, mostly downward-curved, white hairs without gland-hairs intermixed. Bracts v Calyx (v little less extent) well supplied with much finer, but long, gland tipped hairs. (These [20x] not evidently "band forming 3u- ramenengedriculaten, gegliederten" SVI.) Corolla when ready to fall ± 7mm long; white wth a few fine, purple stripes, a yellow spot on underlp and a yellow throat. Corolla tube def. shorter than Calyx. Each lobe of the 2 lobes? upper lp of corolla notched but not denti- culate (Costa). [Very long ciliate hairs seem mostly or perhaps all without glands. Teeth gls bluntish (certain-ly not sharp.) Note: altitude seems a little low acc to SVI. [7-26-34 Study of F. from R de N and Ulion persuaades R.BK that this is merely small fld form of E. Decidualis.]] 7-11-33? Crataegus. 70 fl.ps. Kagedu Chauderon A low bush perhaps 2 ½ ft (fl with C. monogyna pec.) Lvs 4x4mm or only half as long oblong pct g at Lvs broadly ovate, lny, broke at base and squarely cut (the lf left on joining petiole v then curving so that lower edge 8 lobes
